ESCAPE FROM JAIL (Murder Conviction)
Wanted for Escape From Jail for a Murder conviction. Edward Salas is the last outstanding inmate to have escaped from the Curry County Adult Detention Center in August 2008. Edward Salas was due to be transferred to the NM Department of Corrections to serve his sentence for the Murder conviction of 10 year old Clovis boy Carlos Perez when he escaped. Edward Salas is 26 years old (Date of Birth: 05/21/1984), 5'-05" in height, 180 pounds, with Brown Hair and Brown Eyes. Salas has a tattoo on his back: "SALAS" and a tattoo on his right arm: "LISA". He should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS! MURDER/SHOOTING AT A DWELLING
The Clovis Police Department and 9th Judicial District Attorney Office is requesting that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Noe Torres, 31 years of age, call the Curry County Crime Stoppers at (575) 763-7000. Current information is that Noe Torres is in Tampico, Mexico, but has ties in Clovis, New Mexico, Lubbock and Amarillo, Texas as well as Albuquerque, New Mexico. A murder warrant was issued for Noe Torres in connection to the September 15, 2005 shooting death of 10 year old Carlos Perez. Callers can remain anonymous and can earn a $5,000 reward if their information leads to the arrest of Noe Torres.
Noe Torres is described as a 31 year old (Date of Birth: 03/02/1979) Hispanic male, 5’-04” in height, 150 pounds, with Black Hair and Brown Eyes. Torres has tattoos on his stomach, back, neck and chest. The most prominent tattoo being of an eagle across his chest. Noe Torres should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS. CECILIO FLORES GOMEZ
MURDER
Cecilio Gomez is wanted for the shooting murder of Juan Vega that occurred on April 16, 2000 in the Sunrise Edition trailer park in South Clovis, New Mexico. Gomez is described as a 35 year old (Date of Birth: 02/24/1975) Hispanic male, 5’-09” in height, 200 pounds, with Black Hair and Brown Eyes. Gomez has a burn scar on his right arm and scars on his left elbow. Cecilio Gomez has ties to Oklahoma and is believed to be moving back and forth between Mexico and Oklahoma. Cecilio Gomez should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
