Contact Person:    Sergeant Daron Roach

Clovis – Date On Friday, April 25, 2014, approximately 11:32 AM, the Clovis Police Department responded to a report of an auto pedestrian accident involving a small child.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned from independent witnesses Robyn Snowberger, Bradley Cardwell and Khole Grossnicklaus were within the crosswalk crossing Norris Street.  Ms. Snowberger was pushing a stroller in which Khole was riding.

The officers learned a Black Hyundai SUV, driven by Jossie Jackson, was travelling east on 21st and had stopped at the intersection of Norris to make a right turn.

As the SUV made the turn, it struck and dragged the stroller before coming to a stop, injuring Khole. Ms. Snowberger was knocked to the ground, but quickly returned to her feet to get the SUV to stop. Ms. Snowberger, Khole and Bradley were all taken to the hospital.

Ms. Snowberger and Bradley were treated and released from PRMC, while Khole was later transferred to a Lubbock hospital where she is being treated for her injuries.

Although this incident is still under investigation, it has been determined alcohol is not a factor.

The Clovis Police Department would like to take this opportunity to remind all drivers that with the warmer weather there will be an increase of pedestrian and motorcycle traffic to watch for while driving.

There is no other information available at this time.
